My husband and I started to build an emergency fund with the goal of getting out of debt. But car issue after car issue has all but drained that fund. The car was fixed a week ago after the radiator fans died. And now we are sitting at a gas station waiting for the car to stop smoking so we can get it the two miles to Walmart so we can put coolant in it because its coolant is gone even though it got refilled a month ago. The transmission is also slipping badly, but we share this car so we have no choice but to drive it so we can get to work. We can't afford a car payment or we would just get a new one. We really are just asking for guidance and prayer.
